Ingredients

150 g okra
200 g skinless chicken
1 medium onion , skinned and finely chopped
1 inch piece fresh ginger , peeled & chopped
3 tablespoons oil
1 teaspoon red chili powder
1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder
salt
2 tablespoons coriander leaves , fresh
3 whole tomatoes
1 teaspoon coriander powder
1/3 teaspoon garam masala
2 medium onions , cut in thin slices
6 -8 green chilies , thinly sliced

Instructions

1.Heat oil in a pan and add sliced onions, saute for 2-3min or till they turn golden brown.
2.Add ginger to the pan and cook for another 2 minutes.
3.Add diced tomatoes, turmeric powder, coriander powder, and red chili powder. Mix well and cook for 5 minutes.
4.Add chicken and cook for 8-10 minutes on medium flame or till chicken is cooked.
5.Add thinly sliced okra, green chilies, salt, and garam masala. Mix well and cook for another 10 minutes or till okra is tender.
6.Garnish with freshly chopped coriander leaves. Serve hot with rice or roti.
