Ingredients

2 lbs ground pork
1 egg , slightly beaten
1/2 cup milk
1/2 cup greek vinaigrette dressing ( for more robust flavor use 1/2 cup add ' l dressing no milk )
fresh coarse cracked pepper
3/4 - 1 cup plain breadcrumbs
1/2 cup sliced black olives , chopped once ( coarse )
3/4 cup crumbled feta cheese
buns or pita bread
greek mayonnaise
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1/2 cup greek vinaigrette dressing
Greek Pork Burgers are a new addition to the menu of food lovers. These burgers are made with ground pork meat, mixed with moist bread crumbs and spices. Greek vinaigrette dressing adds to the flavor of the burger. The combination of Feta cheese and black olives increases the healthiness quotient of the burger. The burgers are then grilled until cooked, and served with greek mayonnaise in buns or pita breads. This burger has a unique taste that is sure to satisfy your taste buds.

Instructions

1.Preheat the grill over medium heat.
2.In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground pork, egg, milk, greek vinaigrette dressing, and fresh coarse-cracked pepper. Mix well using your hands or a wooden spoon.
3.Gradually add breadcrumbs while mixing the mixture to form a thick mixture. Add more breadcrumbs gradually until it can hold its shape but still remains moist.
4.Fold in the chopped black olives and crumbled feta cheese.
5.Form the mixture into 6-8 equal-sized patties.
6.Brush the grill grates with oil and grill the patties for about 3-4 minutes on each side or until the desired doneness.
7.Remove the patties from the grill and allow them to rest for about 5 minutes.
8.Mix greek mayonnaise and Greek vinaigrette dressing in a separate mixing bowl.
9.Cut the buns or pita bread in half and toast them on the grill until slightly crispy.
10.Spread the greek mayonnaise mixture on one side of the bread and place the cooked burger patties on top of the sauced bread. Top with lettuce and sliced tomatoes. Add the other bread half and serve.
