1 tablespoon caster sugar
300 ml thickened cream

3/4 cup roasted hazelnuts , chopped
2 packets sponge cake fingers ( sponge-finger biscuits )
90 g chocolate , crumbled

Instructions

1.Combine Frangelico, raspberries, chopped strawberries, and caster sugar in a saucepan over medium heat. Cook for 5-7 minutes or until the berries have broken down and become syrupy. Set aside to cool.
2.In a separate large mixing bowl, beat the cream, mascarpone, vanilla bean paste, and extra caster sugar until well combined.
3.Fold in the chopped hazelnuts and sponge cake fingers until evenly distributed.
4.Spoon half of the cream mixture into a large, round serving dish.
5.Drizzle half of the cooled berry syrup over the cream mixture. Add another layer of sponge cake fingers on top.
6.Repeat with the remaining cream mixture and berry syrup.
7.Sprinkle the crumbled chocolate over the top of the dish.
8.Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight to allow the flavors to meld together.
