2 cups dry masa harina ( corn tortilla mix )
water
oil , for frying ( oil suitable for high heat )

Instructions

1.In a bowl, mix the dry masa harina with hot water and knead until the dough is smooth.
2.On a flat surface, make small balls from the dough.
3.Flatten each ball with a tortilla press or a flat bottomed dish.
4.Heat a skillet over medium heat and cook each tortilla for about 40 seconds on each side or until lightly browned.
5.Serve your Belizean Tortillas while still warm.
