Instructions

1.In a large bowl, mix the fresh breadcrumb and evaporated milk. Let it sit for 5 minutes.
2.Add ground turkey, ground pork, beaten egg, minced shallot, minced parsley, salt, fresh cracked pepper, and fresh grated nutmeg to the breadcrumb-milk mixture. Stir everything together until well combined.
3.Shape meat mixture into 1 1/2 inch meatballs and dredge each meatball in flour.
4.Melt butter with oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add meatballs and cook, turning occasionally, until browned on all sides. Remove the meatballs from the skillet and set aside.
5.In the same skillet, add sliced onion and sliced Belgian endive. Cook for 10 minutes.
6.Add sugar and flour to the skillet, stirring until all is combined.
7.Add Belgian beer and pork broth to the skillet, stirring until all is combined.
8.Add the meatballs back to the skillet and reduce heat. Cook everything for an extra 10 minutes or until the meatballs are cooked all the way through. Stir occasionally.
9.Sprinkle minced parsley over the meatballs and serve over mashed potatoes or noodles.
