5 -7 garlic cloves , minced
3 green onions , chopped finely
1/2 head cabbage , chopped and salted
3 inches peeled ginger , grated
2 tablespoons salt
2 tablespoons soy sauce
2 teaspoons sugar
1 egg
3 tablespoons sesame oil
2 teaspoons five-spice powder
1 tablespoon red pepper powder
100 dumpling wrappers
1 pinch salt
1 pinch water

Instructions

1.Combine ground pork, minced shrimp, garlic, green onions, grated ginger, salt, soy sauce, sugar, egg, sesame oil, five-spice powder, and red pepper powder in a large bowl.
2.Mix everything thoroughly.
3.Take a dumpling wrapper and place 1 tablespoon of the pork-shrimp filling in the center.
4.With a wet fingertip, moisten one half of the wrapper's circumference with water.
5.Fold the wrapper in half and pinch the edges to seal.
6.Next, with your index finger and thumb, pinch the edge's skin to create pleats.
7.Repeat with the remaining dumpling wrappers.
8.Boil the dumplings in salted water until they float to the surface.
9.Serve hot, with soy sauce, vinegar, chili oil, or other condiments of your choice.
