Ingredients

1 kg beef gravy
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 onion , chopped
2 -3 garlic cloves , chopped
2 -3 tablespoons tomato paste
500 g red pasta sauce ( any favourite will do )
1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 cup red wine
1 cup water
200 g green beans , cut in halve
200 g carrots , cut in small pieces
400 g baby potatoes
Beef With Red Wine & Veggies Casserole is a great dish to prepare when you're in the mood for a comforting meal. Instructions

1.Preheat oven to 180°C / 350°F.
2.In a large pot, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add onions and garlic and sauté for around 5 minutes until they are tender.
3.Add in tomato paste, red pasta sauce, ground cloves, cinnamon, red wine and water. Mix well.
4.Add in the beef and cook until the meat is browned on all sides.
5.Transfer the beef mixture to a large baking dish. Add in green beans, carrots, and potatoes. Mix everything together until the veggies and meat are coated.
6.Cover with foil and place in the preheated oven. Cook for 2 hours.
7.Remove the foil and cook for an additional 30 minutes until the veggies are soft and tender. Serve hot and enjoy!
