Ingredients

2 lbs stewing beef , cut in 1 inch cubes
1/4 cup flour
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
3 slices bacon , diced
12 small onions
1 garlic clove , crushed
1 lb mushroom , sliced
1 can beer
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon thyme
1/2 teaspoon bay leaf , crumbled

Instructions

1.In a large bowl, toss the beef with flour, salt and pepper
2.In a pan, cook diced bacon on medium-high heat for 2-3 minutes until crispy
3.Add beef to the pan and cook until browned on all sides, about 5-7 minutes
4.Transfer beef and bacon to a slow cooker with onions, garlic, mushrooms, beer, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, thyme and bay leaf
5.Cover and cook on low heat for 8-10 hours or high heat for 4-5 hours
6.Serve hot and enjoy!
