Ingredients

4 slices bacon
1 package Lipton Onion Soup Mix
6 tablespoons flour
1 1/2 teaspoons salt
1/4 teaspoon fresh coarse ground black pepper
1 lb beef liver , cut into 2 inch strips
1/2 cup of chopped celery
1/2 cup of chopped onion
1 can condensed beef broth
6 medium potatoes , pared and halved
6 carrots , cut in 2 inch pieces

Instructions

1.Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).

4.In the same skillet, cook the coated liver strips over medium heat, until browned on all sides.
5.Remove liver from skillet and set aside. Add celery and onion to the skillet, cook until tender.
6.Add beef broth to the skillet and stir until it has been heated through.
7.Arrange potatoes and carrots in the bottom of a large baking dish. Place liver strips over the vegetables.
8.Pour the vegetable mixture over the liver, and sprinkle with crumbled bacon.
9.Cover and bake for 1 hour and 30 minutes.
