2 beef tenderloin steaks or ( 6 -8 ounce ) filet of beef
1/2 teaspoon salt or 1/4 teaspoon kosher salt

1 small yellow onion , sliced and separated into rings
1 small red onion , sliced and separated into rings

1/2 1/2 cup red wine or 1/2 cup low sodium beef broth
1/4 cup low sodium beef broth
salt , to taste
fresh ground black pepper , to taste
chopped fresh parsley , garnish ( optional )

Instructions
