Ingredients

1 pillsbury refrigerated pie crust , cut in half ( makes 2 empanadas )
1 cup cooked ground beef ( season with chili powder or some Taco Bell seasoning & some diced onions & S & P )
1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
jarred chopped jalapenos ( a sprinkle per empanada ) or canned green chili pepper ( a sprinkle per empanada )

Instructions

1.Preheat your GT Xpress machine.
2.Roll each half of the refrigerated pie crust on a floured surface to 1/8 inch thickness.
3.Cut each pie crust in half to create four equal pieces.
4.In a bowl, mix the cooked ground beef, shredded cheddar cheese, diced onions, S&P and jalapenos or canned green chili pepper.
5.Divide the beef mixture into four equal portions and spoon each portion onto the center of each pie crust piece.
6.Fold each piece in half and gently press the edges together to seal.
7.Place two empanadas into each side of the GT Xpress machine.
8.Cook for 7-10 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the filling is heated through. Repeat with the remaining empanadas.
9.Serve hot as a snack or appetizer.
