Ingredients

1 1/2 - 2 lbs beef chuck , cut in 1-inch cubes
6 Italian sausages ( about 1 lb )
1 large onion , sliced
2 garlic cloves , minced
2 medium green peppers , seeded , cut into chunks
4 medium potatoes , pelled , cut into quarters
2 cans red kidney beans , drained
1 teaspoon basil
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1 cup beef broth

Instructions

1.Preheat oven to 375°F.
2.Brown the beef and sausages in a deep skillet on medium heat, and remove from skillet.

4.Add green peppers, basil, salt, and pepper. Cook for another 2 minutes.
5.Add in beef broth and stir until evenly combined.
6.Add in beef and sausages, red kidney beans, and potatoes to the skillet.
7.Cover with lid, bring to boil and let it simmer for 10 minutes.
8.Once simmered, transfer skillet to the oven and bake at 375°F for 1 hour or until beef is fork tender.
