2 large piece beef top round steak ( pounded very thin )
2 hard-boiled eggs
8 garlic cloves
1/4 cup chopped parsley ( fresh )
1/4 cup grated cheese
1 small potato
1/8 cup raisins
salt and pepper
1/4 cup pignoli nut ( optional )
Beef Brasciola is a traditional Italian meat dish that is both flavorful and filling. Instructions

1.Lay out the beef slices and season with salt and pepper.
2.On each slice, evenly spread 1 garlic clove, 1/4 of a hard-boiled egg, 1/8 of a small potato, 1/4 tsp chopped parsley, 1/2 tbsp grated cheese, 2-3 raisins, and 1/2 tbsp pignoli nut (optional).
3.Fold the short sides of the beef over the filling.
4.Roll up from a long side, tucking in the sides as you go.
5.Secure each roll with a toothpick.
6.Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat.
7.Add olive oil and brown meat on all sides, about 2 minutes per side.
8.Pour in the tomato sauce and water, cover, and simmer on medium-low for 1 hour, stirring occasionally.
