Ingredients

1 1/2 lbs beef
1 minced garlic clove
1/2 teaspoon ginger
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1 teaspoon vegetable oil
2 teaspoons cornstarch
2 onions
2 green peppers
1 teaspoon sugar
1 cup beef bouillon
1 tablespoon cornstarch
1 teaspoon soy sauce
1/4 cup water
2 tablespoons burgundy cooking wine
1/4 teaspoon red chili pepper flakes
Beef and Peppers is a delicious main dish that is perfect for a quick and easy weeknight dinner. Instructions

1.In a large bowl, marinade the beef in garlic, ginger and soy sauce for 15 minutes.
2.In a wok, heat vegetable oil over high heat. Cook the beef until browned, around 5 minutes, and set aside.
3.In the same wok, saute the onions and green peppers for 3-5 minutes.
4.Return the beef to the wok and stir-fry for a further 2 minutes.
5.In a separate bowl, mix beef bouillon, cornstarch, soy sauce, water and burgundy wine together.
6.Add the mixture to the wok and cook until the sauce is thickened, approximately 5 minutes. Finally, sprinkle with red chili pepper flakes.
