2 onions , peeled and sliced
1 teaspoon superfine sugar
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1 beef stock cube
liquid gravy browner or gravy salt

Instructions

1.Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
2.In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, beaten egg, finely chopped onion, chopped thyme, oatmeal, horseradish sauce, salt, and pepper. Mix everything together until the ingredients are evenly distributed.
3.Press the mixture into a 9x5-inch loaf pan, smoothing out the top.

8.Crumble the beef stock cube into the pan and stir until it has dissolved.
9.Gradually add about 2 cups of boiling water to the pan, stirring constantly. The gravy will thicken as it cooks.
10.Add a few drops of liquid gravy browner or gravy salt to achieve the desired color and taste.
