Ingredients

1 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp cornstarch
1 tsp sugar
1 lb beef, sliced into thin strips
2 tbsp vegetable oil
3 cups broccoli, chopped into small florets
1 tbsp garlic, minced

2 tbsp oyster sauce
1 tbsp hoisin sauce
1/4 cup beef broth

Beef and broccoli stir-fry is a classic Chinese dish that is both delicious and nutritious. The beef is tender and flavorful, while the broccoli provides a satisfying crunch. This recipe features a savory sauce that brings everything together.

Instructions

1.In a large bowl, whisk together soy sauce, cornstarch, and sugar. Add beef strips and toss to coat. Set aside.
2.In a wok or large skillet, heat vegetable oil over high heat. Add broccoli and stir-fry until tender, about 3-4 minutes. Remove from the pan and set aside.
3.Add garlic and ginger to the pan and stir-fry for 30 seconds.
4.Add the beef with any remaining marinade and stir-fry until browned on all sides, about 2-3 minutes.
5.Add oyster sauce, hoisin sauce, and beef broth to the pan. Stir-fry for 1-2 minutes until sauce has thickened.
6.Return broccoli to the pan and stir-fry for 1-2 minutes until heated through.
7.Serve beef and broccoli stir-fry over rice and garnish with sliced green onions.
