1/2 1/2 cup shredded monterey jack pepper cheese or 1/2 cup shredded gorgonzola
snipped fresh chives
8 dinner rolls or 8 cocktail-sized hamburger buns , split
sliced tomatoes
sliced lettuce

Instructions

1.Preheat the oven to 450°F (230°C).
2.In a small bowl mix barbecue sauce and grape jelly together, set aside.
3.Arrange the potatoes in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or non-stick foil. Bake for 15 minutes.
4.Meanwhile, in another bowl combine bacon, dry breadcrumbs, nuts, barbecue sauce, and poultry seasoning. Add in the ground chicken and cheese then mix everything together.
5.Divide the chicken mixture into eight portions and form each one into a patty. When potatoes are done, stack them together to make room (leave space for the chicken burgers) then place the chicken burgers on the baking sheet and return to the oven. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the chicken patties reach an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
6.Place burgers on the rolls, and add a slice of tomato and a slice of lettuce. Top with snipped fresh chives. Serve with cheesy French fries.
