2.In another bowl, beat the egg with the melted butter and milk.
3.Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and mix until smooth.
4.Heat oil in a deep frying pan on medium heat.
5.Dust your fish fillets with plain flour.
6.Dip each fish fillet into the batter, making sure it is coated on all sides.
7.Carefully place the battered fish fillets into the hot oil, cooking them for 6-7 minutes or until golden brown.
8.Once cooked, remove the fish from the oil using a slotted spoon and place them onto paper towels to remove any excess oil. Serve hot.

PROS

The crispy batter creates a crunchy texture that complements the soft and flavorful fish inside.

This recipe is easy to follow and doesn’t require a lot of ingredients.

CONS

This dish contains fried food which can make it high in calories and fat.

It can also be messy to cook as oil may splatter during frying.

HEALTH & BENEFITS

Fish is an excellent source of protein and omega-3 fatty acids, which can help reduce the risk of cardiovascular diseases.
Cajun seasoning can also add flavor and depth to food, with anti-inflammatory and cholesterol-lowering properties.
