Ingredients

1 3/4 cups regular oatmeal
1/4 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon butter , melted
5 -8 teaspoons hot water
Oatcakes are a traditional Scottish favorite that are perfect for breakfast or as a snack. They are delicious served alone or with your favorite toppings.

Instructions

1.Preheat oven at 350°F.
2.Mix oats, baking powder, and salt.
3.Add melted butter and hot water until the mixture is firm.
4.Spread the mixture out into a 1/4 inch to 1/2 inch thick circle of desired size.
5.Place on a baking sheet sprayed with cooking spray and bake for 10-15 minutes or until golden brown.
6.Let cool and serve.
