Ingredients

1 1/4 lbs sirloin or 1 1/4 lbs rib eye steaks
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon sesame oil
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
4 scallions , 2-inch long julienne strips
3 tablespoons soy sauce
2 teaspoons sesame oil
1 -3 teaspoon cayenne chili powder
1 teaspoon sugar
1 tablespoon toasted sesame seeds
10 -12 large lettuce leaves ( I recommend Boston lettuce )
3 garlic cloves , sliced thinly

Instructions

1.Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
2.Slice the steak into thin strips.
3.In a mixing bowl, whisk together salt, sesame oil, black pepper, sliced scallions, soy sauce, sesame oil, cayenne chili powder, and sugar until evenly combined.
4.Add the sliced steak to the mixing bowl, and toss until the steak is evenly coated in the marinade. Let it marinate for at least 10 minutes.
5.Place the steak strips on the grill, and grill for 2-3 minutes on each side, or until they are charred but still tender.
6.Remove the steak from the grill, and let it rest for a few minutes.
7.Serve the steak strips on a platter with toasted sesame seeds and lettuce leaves. Wrap the steak strips in the lettuce leaves and enjoy!
