Ingredients

1 loaf banana bread
1 1 cup whole milk ( any combination will work ) or 1 cup half-and-half ( any combination will work )
4 eggs
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/8 teaspoon freshly ground nutmeg
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1 tablespoon butter
2 bananas , ripe , thinly sliced
confectioners ' sugar
1/2 cup creme fraiche or 1/2 cup light sour cream
1/2 cup orange marmalade

Instructions

1.Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
2.Cut banana bread into thick slices, about 3/4 inch thick.
