1 large onion , finely chopped
2 lbs fresh okra
1 can tomato sauce
2 plum tomatoes , chopped
3 cloves garlic , finely minced
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1/2 lemon , juice of
1 dash salt
water

Instructions

1.Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Saute onions until browned.

3.Add the tomato sauce, chopped tomatoes, minced garlic, pepper, and salt to the skillet. Mix well.
4.Add enough water to the skillet to cover the okra about halfway. Bring the mixture to a boil and simmer until the okra is fully tender.
5.Squeeze the lemon juice over the okra and mix well. Serve hot.
