1 1/2 cups butter
3/4 cup pistachios , crushed
1 1/2 cups sugar

Instructions

1.Preheat the oven to 350°F.
2.Lay the phyllo sheets one on top of the other and cut them in half lengthwise. Brush melted butter on each folded phyllo sheet.
3.Put one tablespoon of crushed pistachios on the bottom of one strip and fold the phyllo into pockets.
4.Brush melted butter on the top of each pocket. Place pockets on a baking sheet and bake for 25 minutes.
5.While the pockets are baking, mix the water, sugar, and lemon juice in a small saucepan and bring to a boil over medium heat. Reduce heat and simmer until the sugar is dissolved and the mixture thickens slightly.
6.Pour the syrup over the pockets as soon as they come out of the oven.
