5 -6 cups pasta sauce with meat ( Rich Thick Meat Sauce for a Crowd ! )
1 lb ziti pasta or 1 lb penne pasta , under cooked
3 cups ricotta cheese
2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
1 egg , slightly mix
1 tablespoon dried parsley
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1 cup mozzarella cheese , shredded
1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
Baked Ziti With Thick Rich Meat Sauce is a classic Italian-American dish that combines pasta, cheese, and a rich tomato-based meat sauce. Instructions

1.Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
2.Spread a thin layer of pasta sauce on the bottom of an 9x13 inch baking dish.
3.In a large bowl mix together ricotta cheese, 2 cups of mozzarella cheese, 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese, egg, parsley, and black pepper.
4.Add under cooked ziti to cheese mixture and mix until well combined.
5.Spread 1/3 of the cheese and pasta mixture over the pasta sauce in the baking dish. Then spread 1/3 of the remaining pasta sauce over the cheese and pasta mixture. Cover with another layer of the cheese and pasta mixture. Repeat with 1/3 pasta sauce and with the remaining cheese and pasta mixture. Finish with the remaining pasta sauce.
6.Sprinkle the top with the remaining 1 cup of shredded mozzarella cheese and 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese.
7.Place in preheated oven and bake for 35-40 minutes or until cheese on top is melted and bubbly. Remove from oven and allow to cool for a few minutes before serving.
