1/4 cup butter
1 medium green pepper , seeded and diced
1 cup finely chopped onion
1/2 lb fresh button mushroom
2 tablespoons butter

1 lb fresh scallops , rinsed
2/3 cup dry white wine
1/2 cup fine dry breadcrumb
1/2 teaspoon italian seasoning mix
2 tablespoons butter , melted

Instructions

1.Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
2.Melt butter in a frying pan over medium heat.

7.Grease a baking dish with butter then place scallops in the dish.
8.Pour the white wine over the scallops.
9.Pour the thickened sauce over the pan and smooth it over the top.
10.Mix breadcrumbs and Italian seasoning together then sprinkle it over the top of the thickened sauce.
11.Drizzle melted butter over the breadcrumbs.
12.Bake scallops in the oven at 350 degrees F for approximately 30 minutes or until the top is golden and the scallops are fully cooked.
