1 lb Brussels sprout

3 cups water ( substitute stock -- vegetable , beef or chicken -- if you wish )
1 cup chopped onion ( , peeled )
2 cups chopped celery
1 cup chopped carrot ( , peeled )
4 cups chopped rutabagas ( , peeled )
3 bay leaves
1 tablespoon grated fresh gingerroot
2 tablespoons low sodium soy sauce

Instructions

1.Preheat oven to 375°F.

3.In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce and water then pour over the lentil-vegetable mixture.
4.Cover and bake for an hour then remove the lid and continue to bake for another 30 minutes until the top of the vegetables start to brown.
