4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
2 eggs, beaten
1 cup Italian seasoned breadcrumbs
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp dried oregano
1/2 tsp dried basil
1/2 cup marinara sauce
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
Baked Chicken Parmesan is a delicious and healthier alternative to traditional fried Chicken Parmesan. By baking instead of frying the chicken, the calorie and fat content is significantly reduced without sacrificing flavor. Instructions

1.Preheat oven to 425F.
2.Place flour and eggs in separate shallow dishes. In another dish, combine breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, oregano, and basil.
3.Dredge chicken in flour, dip in eggs, and coat with breadcrumb mixture.
4.Place chicken on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
5.Top each breast with 2 tbsp marinara sauce and 1/4 cup mozzarella cheese.
6.Bake in preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until chicken is cooked through and cheese is melted and bubbly.
7.Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
