Instructions

1.In a large bowl, whisk together the cabbage, carrot, apple cider vinegar, jalapeno peppers, 1 teaspoon salt, and fresh ground black pepper to taste.
2.In a separate bowl, whisk together the soy yogurt, lime juice, 2 tablespoons oil, cilantro leaves, and 1/2 teaspoon salt. Set both bowls aside.
3.In a large bowl, whisk together the beer, garlic, 2 teaspoons oil, soy sauce, lime juice, chili powder, cumin, and 1/2 teaspoon salt.
4.Cut the tempeh into thin slices and add to the marinade. Let it marinate for at least 10 minutes.
5.Preheat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat. Grill the tempeh slices until nicely charred and crispy, about 2-3 minutes per side.
