Ingredients

4 1/2 slices French bread , thick , cut into 1 inch cubes ( or substitute Irish soda bread Irish Soda Bread )
2 tablespoons butter
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup milk , scalded
1 pinch ground nutmeg
4 eggs , beaten
1 tablespoon dark brown sugar
1/2 cup white sugar
1/2 cup raisins
1 cup Baileys Irish Cream

Instructions

1.Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
2.Grease a 9 inch square baking dish with butter.
3.Arrange the bread cubes in the baking dish and set aside.
4.Melt the 2 tablespoons of butter in a small saucepan and add the vanilla extract.
5.In a medium bowl, combine the scalded milk, nutmeg, eggs, dark brown sugar, white sugar, raisins, and Baileys Irish Cream. Whisk together and pour over bread cubes.
6.Pour the melted butter mixture evenly over the top of the bread pudding.
