Ingredients

1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
100 -150 g smoked bacon ( smoked cooking bacon , finely diced )
4 -6 sun-dried tomatoes ( roughly chopped )
1 teaspoon tomato puree
1 small onions ( finely diced ) or 2 shallots ( finely diced )

Instructions

1.In a large mixing bowl, combine milk, water, sugar, salt, oil, wholemeal bread flour, white bread flour, instant dried yeast, and dried oregano. Mix well to form a dough.
2.Knead the dough for approximately 10 minutes until it becomes smooth.
3.Add the smoked bacon, sun-dried tomatoes, tomato puree, and onions (or shallots). Knead the dough for another 5 minutes.
4.Cover the dough with a damp towel and let it rise for approximately 1 hour.
5.Preheat your oven to 200°C. Grease a baking pan.
6.Divide the dough into 16 equal parts, shape each into a ball, and place them in the greased pan.
7.Bake the rolls in the oven for approximately 20-25 minutes, or until they are golden-brown on top.
8.Remove the rolls from the pan and let them cool on a wire rack.
