9 whole wheat lasagna noodles , cooked
1/4 cup fat free chicken broth

28 ounces diced tomatoes
14 ounces tomato sauce
6 ounces tomato paste
1/2 cup red wine
1 tablespoon dried basil
1 tablespoon dried oregano
1 teaspoon sugar
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
500 g 1 % fat cottage cheese
3/4 cup parmesan cheese
2 cups mozzarella cheese , shredded

Instructions

1.Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.

3.Bring mixture to a boil, reduce heat and let simmer for about 15 minutes.

5.Layer 3 lasagna noodles on top of the sauce, followed by 1/3 of the cottage cheese, 1/3 of the remaining sauce, 1/3 of the mozzarella cheese, and 1/3 of the parmesan cheese.
6.Repeat layering with remaining ingredients, ending with the cheeses on top.
7.Bake for about 30-35 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
8.Let lasagna cool for about 5-10 minutes before serving.
