Ingredients

4 pieces calf liver
1/4 cup flour
1 large white onion
1/2 lb bacon
1 1/2 cups white mushrooms
1/2 teaspoon salt

2 cups water
2 tablespoons beef bisto
2 cubes Oxo beef cubes
1 teaspoon pepper ( Freshly Cracked )

Instructions

1.Season 4 pieces of calf liver with salt and pepper and coat them in flour.
2.Fry 1/2 lb of bacon in a large skillet until crispy and set it aside.
3.In the same skillet, cook 1 large white onion sliced into rings, and 1 1/2 cups of white mushrooms over medium heat until the onions are translucent and the mushrooms are tender.
4.Remove the vegetables from the pan and set them aside with the bacon.
5.In the same pan, cook the floured liver for about 3 minutes on each side until brown.
6.Add 2 cups of water, 2 beef bisto, 2 Oxo beef cubes, and 1 teaspoon of freshly cracked pepper to the pan and stir to combine.
7.Bring the mixture to a boil and then reduce the heat to low.
8.Add the bacon and vegetables back to the pan and simmer for another 10-15 minutes, or until the liver is cooked to your liking.
