Ingredients

1 envelope dry yeast
1/2 cup light cream or 1/2 cup half-and-half
1/2 cup sugar
2 cups flour
3 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 teaspoon almond extract
1 tablespoon melted butter
1/3 cup light golden raisin
8 ounces cream cheese ( blend cream cheese sugar , and add egg yolks , continue to blend well with mixer until smooth )
2 egg yolks
1/2 cup sugar
Babci's Babka is a sweet, buttery, and aromatic dessert that originates from Poland. Instructions

1.Add warm water with yeast, stir it until it's dissolved and let it sit for 5 minutes.
2.Add in sugar, eggs, light cream or half and half, vanilla extract, and almond extract, mix well.
3.Gradually add 2 cups flour, knead the dough, and let it rest for 10 minutes in a warm place.
4.In a small bowl, mix raisins with hot water and let them sit for 10 minutes. Then drain them and dust with flour.
5.Beat together cream cheese, sugar, and egg yolks in a large bowl until a creamy and light mixture is formed.
6.Preheat an oven to 350°F. Grease a 9-inch bundt pan with butter.
7.Roll the dough to 14 by 15 inches. Spread the cream cheese mixture onto the dough, evenly distribute the raisins, fold the dough in halves, roll it, and put it into the pan.
8.Bake in the oven for 45 minutes to 1 hour until the top is golden brown. Remove from the oven and cool completely before serving.
