1 tablespoon oil , for sauteing
1/4 kg ground beef
2 cups rice
100 g fresh coriander , finely chopped
1/4 teaspoon turmeric
1/8 teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon salt
3 cups water

Instructions

1.Rinse the rice in cold water and leave it to soak in cold water for 15 minutes.

5.Add the coriander, turmeric, black pepper, and salt, and cook for a few minutes.
6.Drain the rice and add it to the pot, stir it well with the beef mixture.
7.Add water, stir it again and bring it to a boil.
8.Reduce the heat to low and cover it with a lid.
9.Cook it for 15-20 minutes until the rice is cooked and the water has evaporated.
10.Turn off the heat and let it rest for 5 minutes before serving.
