2 packets Nesco jerky spice works , 1 packet is the cure which contains salt and sodium nitrate , to cure the meat , 1 packet contains spi
1/4 cup sugar
2 lbs hamburger meat or 2 lbs ground deer meat , for those deer hunters
1 teaspoon paprika

Instructions

1.In a large bowl, whisk together the teriyaki marinade, honey, Nesco jerky spice works, sugar and paprika.
2.Add the hamburger or ground deer meat to the bowl and use your hands to fully combine the meat with the marinade.
3.Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 6 hours or overnight.
4.Preheat the oven to 160°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
5.Using your hands, form the meat mixture into strips and place them on the parchment paper, making sure they do not overlap.
6.Bake the beef jerky in the oven for 4-6 hours or until completely dry and no longer moist to the touch.
