Ingredients

1 1/2 pounds beef top sirloin , thinly sliced
2 tablespoons white cooking wine
1 cup pear juice
1 teaspoon ground black pepper
1/4 cup soy sauce
1 tablespoon white sugar
2 tablespoons Asian ( toasted ) sesame oil
1 tablespoon minced garlic
2 tablespoons chopped green onion
1 tablespoon sesame seeds
1/2 pound fresh mushrooms , halved ( optional )
1/2 onion , chopped ( optional )
Originating from Korea, Bulgogi is a classic dish enjoyed by many around the world. Made with thinly sliced beef marinated in a delicious combination of pear juice, soy sauce, and sesame oil, the dish is known for its bold, savory flavor. Instructions

1.In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the white cooking wine, pear juice, black pepper, soy sauce, sugar, sesame oil, garlic, green onion, and sesame seeds.
2.Add the thinly sliced beef to the mixing bowl and coat the meat in the marinade.
3.Cover and refrigerate the beef for at least 1 hour or up to 24 hours.
4.Heat a large skillet or wok over high heat. Add the marinated beef and any optional mushrooms and onions and cook for 5-7 minutes or until the beef is fully cooked.
5.Serve the Bulgogi hot with rice and any desired toppings, such as lettuce leaves, sliced jalapeños, or hot sauce.
