The dumplings are then boiled and fried until golden brown. They are commonly served with sauerkraut or red cabbage and a dollop of sour cream. Austrian Meat Stuffed Dumplings are a hearty and filling meal that is perfect for cold winter nights. They are easy to make and can be prepared ahead of time. Leftover dumplings can be reheated for a quick and filling meal. Although not the healthiest meal, it is a tasty and comforting option for those seeking a delicious homemade meal.
