1/2 onion , finely diced
1 garlic clove
1 small carrot , grated
300 g lean ground beef
1 tablespoon tomato paste
1 tablespoon flour
3/4 cup beef stock
2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
2 teaspoons thyme leaves , fresh
5 sheets shortcrust pastry , frozen
1 tablespoon milk
tomato sauce , to serve

Instructions

9.Brush the tops of the pies with milk and use a sharp knife to cut a small slit in the top.
10.Cook for 25-30 minutes, or until golden brown and puffed up. Serve with tomato sauce.
