Instructions

1.In a large pot or dutch oven, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat.
2.Add the chicken to the pot and cook until browned on each side, about 5-7 minutes.
3.Remove the chicken from the pot and set it aside.
4.In the same pot, add the sweet Hungarian paprika, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Stir to combine and cook for 1-2 minutes.
5.Add the chicken broth, carrots, celery, onion, and tomatoes to the pot and bring to a boil.
6.Lower the heat to medium-low and let simmer for 20-25 minutes until the vegetables are tender.
7.In a medium bowl, whisk together the sour cream, water, flour, and eggs until smooth.
8.Slowly pour the sour cream mixture into the pot, stirring constantly.
9.Continue to cook the chicken paprikash on low heat for 20-25 minutes until the sauce has thickened and the chicken is cooked through.
10.Serve with fresh parsley on top.
