2/3 cup confectioners ' sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 cup cornstarch
1/2 cup old fashioned oats , ground
14 tablespoons unsalted butter , cut into 1/8-inch pieces

Instructions

1.In a large bowl, whisk together flour, confectioners' sugar and salt.
2.Add cornstarch and oats and mix well.
3.Cut butter into small pieces and add to the bowl. Mix the dough until it forms a ball.
4.Cover the bowl with saran wrap and chill for at least 30 minutes.
5.Preheat oven to 300°F (150°C).
6.Grease baking dish with butter and gently press the dough into the dish. Pierce the dough with a fork.
7.Bake for 50-60 minutes, until edges are lightly golden. Cut into pieces while still warm. Enjoy with a cup of tea!
