Ingredients

1 sheet puff pastry
1 bunch of asparagus, trimmed
1/2 cup ricotta cheese
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/4 cup chopped chives
1 garlic clove, minced
Salt and pepper to taste
Olive oil for drizzling
This asparagus tart is the perfect appetizer or side dish for any occasion. The delicate asparagus is complemented by the creamy ricotta and tangy Parmesan cheese, all encased in flaky puff pastry. It's quick and easy to make, but looks impressive enough to serve at a dinner party. To get the most tender asparagus, be sure to trim the woody ends before cooking. You can also blanch the asparagus for a few minutes before placing it on the tart if you prefer a softer texture.
