2 slices whole wheat bread , thin slice
1/2 teaspoon butter
2 asparagus spears ( I like canned for jaffles )
2 -3 slices tomatoes
1 slice cheese ( optional )
1/8 teaspoon pepper
1/8 teaspoon parsley
1/8 teaspoon Dijon mustard
1 slice ham ( optional )

Instructions

1.Preheat a sandwich press or jaffle maker. Butter one side of each slice of bread.

3.Spread Dijon mustard over the remaining slice of bread (optional) and add the slice of ham (optional). Place this slice on top of the other slice, butter side up.
4.Close the press and cook until the cheese is melted and the bread is golden brown, about 5 minutes.
