Ingredients

8 large cabbage leaves , whole
200 g ground turkey
1/2 medium carrot , peeled cut into thin match sticks
2 green onions , minced
1/4 cup water chestnut , diced
1/2 cup bean sprouts
1/4 cup shredded snow peas
2 tablespoons grated fresh ginger
3 garlic cloves , chopped
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1 teaspoon sesame oil
100 g cellophane noodles , soaked in cold water for 1 hour
Asian Style Cabbage Rolls, also known as Gołąbki, is a traditional Eastern European dish that uses cabbage leaves as a wrap, usually stuffed with meat and rice and cooked in tomato sauce. In this recipe, the traditional ingredients have been swapped out for a healthier version. This dish is a healthy and tasty way to enjoy the flavors of Asian cuisine, with the mixture of ground turkey, vegetables, and seasonings filling the cabbage leaves. Instructions

1.Immerse cabbage leaves in boiling water and cook for 2-3 minutes until soft and pliable. Remove from heat and rinse under cold water, then trim the tough stem.
2.In a non-stick skillet, cook ground turkey over medium heat until it starts to brown, add minced carrot, green onion, garlic and ginger until it becomes fragrant, then mix bean sprouts, water chestnut and snow peas for another 1-2 minutes. Dress with soy sauce and sesame oil, stir well.
3.Wet each cabbage leaf with a few drops of water and put 2 tablespoons of filling on the middle of it, wrap it up tightly.
4.Place the cabbage rolls into a steam basket, leaving a few small gaps between rolls.
5.Steam the rolls over high heat for 18-20 minutes or until cooked through. Serve hot.
