Ingredients

32 large prawns
1 clove garlic , chopped
1 teaspoon fresh grated ginger
1 tablespoon teriyaki sauce
1 tablespoon hoisin sauce or 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
1 lime , juice of ( apprx 1 tbsp )
2 tablespoons sesame oil
1 tablespoon cilantro , chopped
1 lime , quartered

Instructions

1.1.Preheat the grill to medium-high heat
2.Rinse the prawns under cold running water
3.Butterfly the prawns by inserting a knife down the back of each prawn and slicing them in half lengthwise.
4.4.In a bowl, combine garlic, ginger, teriyaki sauce, hoisin or oyster sauce, sesame oil, and lime juice, then add prawns and marinate for up to 30 minutes.
5.Take the prawns out of the marinate and put onto skewers
6.Grill the brochettes until slightly charred, about 2 to 3 minutes on each side and then brush remaining marinade over each side of the prawns
7.Serve with lime quarters.
