4 bay leaves
12 cherry tomatoes , chopped
2 cups white rice
4 1/4 cups hot water
salt to taste
3 tablespoons cachaca ( Brazilian sugar can rum )

Instructions

1.In a bowl, add the chopped garlics, bay leaves, and cherry tomatoes.
2.In a clean pot, heat the olive oil.
3.Add the contents of the bowl and fry until the garlic becomes fragrant.
4.Put 2 cups of white rice into the pot and stir until they are coated with the tomato sauce.
5.Pour hot water, add salt to taste and mix gently.
6.Cover the pot and bring the rice to a boil over high heat.
7.Lower the heat to low and cook for 20 minutes.
8.After 20 minutes, turn off the heat, add Brazilian sugar cane rum (cachaca), and mix everything gently.
9.Leave the pot covered for another 3-5 minutes, allowing the rice to absorb the rum's flavor.
10.Serve hot with your choice of meat or vegetables. Enjoy!
