Ingredients

3 cups pure water
2 tablespoons arabic coffee
3 tablespoons ground cardamom , powder
1/4 teaspoon saffron
When you think of the Middle East, one of the first things that may come to mind is Arabic coffee. The coffee has a long history in the Arab world and is often consumed in social settings. The process of making Arabic coffee is simple but requires attention to detail to get the perfect flavor. This Saudi Arabian version of Arabic Coffee is infused with saffron, a spice that gives the drink a unique aroma and distinct golden color which is often poured into small own cups called finjans. Instructions

1.Boil water in a pot.
2.Add saffron into the boiling water and let it simmer for a minute.
3.Add the Arabic coffee and boil for 10 minutes on a low heat.
4.Remove the pot from heat, add cardamom powder and mix well.
5.Wait for the coffee to rest for 5 minutes before serving. Strain and pour into small cups called finjans.
