Ingredients

2 large onions , chopped
2 ounces butter
2 ounces hazelnuts , roughly chopped
5 ounces dried apricots , chopped
6 ounces fresh breadcrumbs
1 ounce parsley , chopped
1 lemon , finely grated zest
1 egg , beaten
1 tablespoon olive oil , for drizzling
Apricot & Hazelnut Stuffing is a delicious and nutty stuffing for your Thanksgiving or Christmas meal. This delicious stuffing is made with onions, butter, hazelnuts, dried apricots, fresh breadcrumbs, parsley, lemon and egg. It gives your meal an extra touch of flavor and texture. Serve it hot with your favorite meat dish and enjoy the unique taste of this stuffing.

Instructions

1.Preheat the oven to 190°C/gas 5.
2.Cook onions in butter for 5-7 minutes until softened.
3.Stir in the hazelnuts and cook for another 2-3 minutes.
4.Add the apricots, breadcrumbs, parsley and lemon zest to the pan and mix well. Season to taste.
5.Add the beaten egg to the mixture and mix well.
6.Grease a baking dish with olive oil and transfer the stuffing. Spread the top with olive oil.
7.Bake for 20 minutes.
