3/4 cup apricot jam
1/4 cup white sugar

Instructions

1.In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, chilled butter and cold cream cheese. Mix well to form the dough.

3.Preheat the oven to 350°F.

5.Remove the chilled dough discs from the refrigerator and spread the apricot mixture evenly on each of the discs.
6.Cut each disc into 12 equal wedges and roll up each wedge starting from the wider end.
7.Place the rolled almond rugalach on a lined baking sheet and brush them with the beaten egg.
8.Sprinkle chopped almonds on top of the rugalach and bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.
9.Once done, remove the rugalach from the oven and dust sifted confectioner's sugar over them. Cool for 10-15 minutes and serve.
