1/4 cup granulated sugar

1/2 lemon , zest of , finely grated
1 lb puff pastry
3 tablespoons marmalade
1/4 cup milk ( for brushing )

Instructions

1.Preheat oven to 400°F.
2.Peel and core the apples, then chop them into small cubes.
3.In a saucepan, combine the apples, sugar, water, cinnamon, and lemon zest. Cook over medium heat for about 10-15 minutes until the apples are soft.
4.Roll out the puff pastry on a floured surface and cut it into a circle shape.
