1/2 vanilla bean , split ( or 1/2 tsp . pure vanilla extract )
2 tablespoons honey
1/8 teaspoon cardamom
1/2 cup fresh apple cider or 1/2 cup sparkling apple cider
2 strawberries , untrimmed , split almost in half
3 -5 ice cubes ( optional )

Instructions

1.Add banana, apple, and four strawberries to a blender.
2.Using the tip of a knife, scrape the beans from the half vanilla bean and add to the blender. Alternatively, add 1/2 tsp. pure vanilla extract.
3.Add honey, cardamom, and fresh apple cider or sparkling apple cider to the blender.
4.Blend all ingredients together until smooth.
5.Pour the mixture into two glasses.
6.Add untrimmed and split strawberries to each glass.
7.Blend again and serve with ice cubes if desired.
